1. Purpose

The Polynice Legacy Fund exists to build generational wealth for the Polynice family through disciplined Bitcoin accumulation. Contributions are pooled, held in self-custody, and managed transparently on-chain.

2. Contributions

All contributions are voluntary. Each member's share of the fund equals their total contributions divided by everyone's total contributions. If you stop contributing, your existing share is preserved, but it dilutes as others continue stacking.

3. Custody & Security

The fund is held in a multi-signature Liana wallet with timelock recovery. The administrator manages the wallet day-to-day. If the administrator becomes inactive for approximately 12 months, recovery keyholders (2-of-3) can move the funds. Every member receives a BitBox02 hardware wallet funded by the trust.

4. Distributions

Annual distributions are voted on by participants. Only growth above the high-water mark is eligible — 10-20% of gains, voted annually. In down years, nothing leaves. The stack never shrinks.

5. The Vault

10% of contributions sweep to the Vault for permanent generational wealth. Vault distributions are restricted to education, first home, or medical emergency — approved by majority vote.

6. Equipment

Upon enrollment, the fund purchases a BitBox02 hardware wallet for each member. The member generates the purchase invoice from shop.bitbox.swiss, and the fund pays in Bitcoin. The device is the member's personal property and responsibility.

7. On-Chain Record

Your acceptance of this agreement is hashed (SHA-256) and recorded permanently on the Bitcoin blockchain via an OP_RETURN transaction. This creates an immutable, timestamped proof of your enrollment that no one can alter or delete.

8. Removal

Members can withdraw voluntarily. The family can vote to remove a member by majority. On removal, the member's share is calculated and distributed. The wallet is rotated to a new configuration.
